Police are concerned for the welfare of Alison Mora, 15, who is missing from her home in Brixton.
She was last seen at around 4 pm on Monday, March 2, when she left home without saying where she was going.
Since then, Alison has phoned a school teacher to say that she is staying with a friend in the Barking area and she has also been in contact with friends via social media.
She is 5ft 3ins and of slim build with shoulder length black hair.
Alison has gone missing from home before but returned within a few days.
This is the longest she has been away from home and police and her family are becoming increasingly concerned.
