The Big Park Sleepover mini-festival has reached its crowdfunding target and is now going ahead in Myatt’s Fields Park on 28-29 August.

The Sleepover is a free event for 100 local low-income families organised by the Father Nature social enterprise in partnership with the  Myatt’s Fields Park Project charity and supported by the local army and cadet force. Tickets are free to all Lambeth and Southwark residents.

The organisers will provide food and workshops on bush craft, tree climbing, fire-making, whittling, circus skills, foraging/cooking as well as marshmallows and fireside stories, plus tents and sleeping bags.

All parents have to do is bring the kids.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 14 August.

You can apply now online or by post.
