Transport for London has urged Brixton Tube passengers to use Stockwell Station instead if they want to avoid queues during escalator works which start tomorrow morning.

The Twitter feed @TfLaccess wrote this morning: “Brixton: from tomorrow reduced escalator service to late Nov. Queues to enter/exit possible during peaks. Pls use Stockwell to avoid queuing.”

Last month faulty escalators caused serious delays to passengers during peak times.
