The fourth Leander Road street party will be held on Saturday (July 4) with a host of attractions for all ages.

As always the event is open to all – not just residents – and new this year will be animals from Deen City Farm of Wimbledon. Children will also enjoy the free bouncy castle and face painting.

Five local bands have been booked for the stage including the Hobos, Fever Family and Brasstermind, a 10-piece New Orleans-style outfit.

Adults can relax with a pint of real ale or a glass of wine from the full-serviced bar; there will also be a BBQ with both pulled pork and halloumi wraps.

Two mechanics will be on hand from Dr Bike to provide free fixes and tips. The event is backed by London & Quadrant housing association, Mitie and Pedder Property.
