Brixton man charged with firearms offences

Police carThe Metropolitan Police said today that Brixton man, Dean Headman-Williams, 34, of Rattray Road, is one of four people charged with firearms offences after an operation by officers from the Trident and area crime command.

All four – who were arrested after the car they were in was stopped by officers in Norwood Road on Tuesday evening – are due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.

They have all been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life; possession of a prohibited weapon; and possession of prohibited ammunition.

Headman-Williams has also been charged with possession of a firearm when prohibited for life and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

The other three people charged are Donovan Parker-Gordon, 23, of Teevan Close, Croydon; Delicia Sykes, 30, of Panton Close, Croydon; and George Headman, 52, of Knollys Road, West Norwood.
