Glam Rocks! Short of another (dare we say dodgy?) mural, this is our favourite Brixton Bowie homage, still going strong on 384’s new summer cocktail menu. When they pull you out of the oxygen tent…

Ingredients
37.5ml home infused lemon Stolichnaya vodka – infuse your vodka with lemon zest for 48 hours 12.5ml creme de cassis
1 egg white (aquafaba alternative if vegan!)
50ml pomegranate juice

Method
Add one egg white to a Boston tin (cocktail shaker) of cubed ice
Add all remaining ingredients and shake
Strain into a chilled martini glass
Garnish with a orange zest flame and top with edible glitter!

Nick Buglione is the worst kind of foodie in that his gastro ambitions are frustratingly rarely matched by his culinary skills. Eating out he is as happy with a dirty burger, comforting cafe fry up or a Michelin-starred menu. Nick will be bringing even more recipes, reviews, news and cheffy interviews from the pop-ups, restaurants, street stalls and cafes of Brixton as well as bar and pub reviews and the occasional cocktail. He'd love people to get involved, can be contacted at nick@brixtonblog.com and please send all and any general foodie news to food@brixtonblog.com.
