Brixton’s Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Brixton Chamber Orchestra are getting together to present Eternal Praise – a community concert where gospel and classical music unite.

The fusion concert at the church in Santley Street between Acre Lane and Ferndale Road, will have more than 80 performers including the orchestra, the Brixton Music Day Choir, Keshia Smith, David Billet and Marie Garrison, and The Smith Sisters.

The Brixton Chamber Orchestra certainly likes fusion. Last month it played at Electric Brixton as part if the Brixton Disco Festival.

Doors open for the gospel event on 17 November open at 6pm for a 6.30 start at Brixton Seventh Day Adventist Church, Santley Street, SW4 7QG.

The concert is free with an offering collection. You can register on Eventbrite.
