There was much excitement in Brixton today as Hollywood actor and megastar Will Smith joined Chuka Umunna MP on a visit to St Martin-in-the-Fields school and the Lambeth Town Hall. They even stopped to get a caffeine fix at Federation Coffee with Black Cultural Archives director Paul Reid. Krishnan Guru-Murphy, the Channel 4 news presenter, tweeted the following picture with the words: “What is Will Smith doing in Brixton?”

Will Smith then took a look at the development of the Black Cultural Archives building and ended his visit with a surprise visit to the St-Martin-in-the-Fields school, later posting this video to YouTube. Umunna tweeted: “Pupils at St Martins, many of whom are my constituents, had no idea Will Smith was coming to school today. Incredible reception!”

Clogging up the place with his entourage, isn’t the place busy enough already?

Only joking I’m sure the Yout will be very excited about this.
