james bond nightPolish up on those one-liners, there’s a James Bond night coming to Upstairs at the Ritzy on Saturday 27th June.

£5 will get you a night of sophisticated jazzy-pop, with Kirsty Merryn playing a couple of sets of loungey jazz (and Bond theme covers), either side of a Nintendo 64 Goldeneye tournament.

Who remembers Goldeneye? It’s finally your chance to prove yourself champion. Whether you prefer Slappers Only or License to Kill there’s only one (unspoken) rule; no-one’s allowed to be Oddjob.

There’s prizes for the winners and cheaper entry for anyone in a bow tie or anyone who turns up by parachute.

You can sign up to the Goldeneye tournament by clicking ‘Join’ on Facebook.

Doors 7.30pm.
