Brixton’s favourite dog show basked in the Brockwell Park sunshine yesterday.

Every dog had his or her day and every owner was a winner in one way or another.

We were watching the dogtectives in the fancy dress section and keeping an eye out for the prettiest bitch, handsomest dog, cutest puppy, goldenest oldie and most talented canine.

The judges are Bronwyn Lowenthal who runs Lowie, a clothes boutique in Herne Hill; Caroline Paice, owner of The Parlour, a dog friendly cafe in Herne Hill; and
and Andrew Neather, a local journalist, all of whom regularly walk their dogs in the park.
