MISSING: Abaneeka Bangura has been missing since last Tuesday

Police are looking for two “vulnerable” teenage sisters, missing from their home in Streatham.

It is thought they could be in Brixton or other areas of Lambeth or Southwark.

Abaneeka Bangura, 16, failed to return to her Moorcroft Road home last Tuesday (1 May) after school. Her sister, Asima, 13, then left home at 2.30pm on Saturday (5 May) and didn’t come back. Police think the girls are together.

SISTER: Asima Bangura, 13, has autism

Asima, who suffers from autism, was last seen wearing skinny blue jeans, a black hooded top with a red front and a blue denim waistcoat. Abaneeka is black, 5ft 3 inches tall and slim. She was wearing red skinny jeans, a white hooded top and white trainers.

A police spokesperson said: “Both girls are classed as vulnerable and we would ask local residents to call officers with any information on their whereabouts.”

Anyone with information is urged to call Lambeth police on freephone 08000 852 851.
