A Streatham resident and photographer has spoken to the BBC’s Dan Damon about his upcoming photobook ‘How Great Thou Art’. Charlie Phillips, who has photographed London street scenes including the first Notting Hill Carnival, focuses in his latest work on the customs and fashions of Afro-Caribbean funerals in London. He’s been photographing funerals from the Windrush generation in the 1950s to today. Take a look at Charlie’s stunning photography in this short video:
