brixton-clubhouse-rooftop-bar-brixton-london-photos-01Councillors on a licensing committee will review the licence of a popular Brixton nightspot tonight.

The committee will meet at Lambeth Town Hall to discuss the venue’s licence after it received a number of noise complaints last year.

The pub and club in Brixton Road, together with expansive rooftop terrace, have recently been rebranded together as The Lambeth.

The complaints date back to April last year, when council officers served the Clubhouse with a noise abatement notice after complaints from neighbours. A further complaint in July last year led the council to issue a fixed penalty notice.
