MADD for Brockwell Park programme announced

BPCP

MADD for Brockwell Park returns with another top-notch lineup of music, arts, drama and dance events in our beloved local green space. Most events are free, although the organisers Brockwell Park Community Partners do ask for small donations.

Each year, Brockwell Park hosts a diverse range of arts events aimed for the local community, which aim to involve all from the very young, to the very old. Highlights this year include a swing dance workshop, two outdoor plays by Sixteen Feet Productions, the Brockwell Dog Show and an urban dance and football freestyling event.

“We’re delighted to present a wide range of free and affordable ‘MADD’ community events in 2014,” says Matthew Allgood, treasurer for the Brockwell Park Community Partners, “between May and October, park users can expect bee and bat workshops, choirs, community theatre, concerts, a dog show, football freestyling, free films night, jazz, a moth evening, musical cabaret, saxophones, soul, urban dancing and a World War One recital – so there are events for everyone at Brockwell Park.”
