Man arrested after waving gun in Elm Park, Tulse Hill

A 60-year-old man was arrested by armed officers in Elm Park, Tulse Hill yesterday for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Specialist firearm officers were called to the area after a man was seen shouting and waving a gun.

He was arrested and detained, though the gun was later found to be a replica.  The man was still in police custody this morning (July 19).
