A 23-year-old man in hospital after a stabbing on Angell Town estate, Brixton, this afternoon.

Police were called to the estate, near the junction of Villa Road and Brixton Road, at 2.49pm today following a suspected altercation in the area.

A spokesperson for Lambeth Police said the man was taken by ambulance to a south London hospital with a “non life-threatening” injury.

Officers have started their inquiries into the incident, but no arrests have been made.

    Glad to hear it’s non life threatening. I ended up being there before the ambulance turned up and people came together to help out which was a nice thing. Judging where the injury was on him I’d say he’s going to be fine but it’s still a horrible thing to happen to anyone.
