Diversity market at Windrush SquareA new monthly market under the banner of Coming Together, celebrating Diversity starts this weekend, Saturday 7 May 12-6pm at Loughborough Junction. The alternative community market and festival will take place on the first Saturday of every month and includes food, music, sport and entertainment. Organisations involved include New Urban Tribe Arts Development, Loughborough Farm, musicians LETRA, Meanwhile Space, Ebony riding school and It’s Your Local Market.

Organisers say there will be cultural foods, local entertainment and the acoustic echoing drumming of African beats energising and waking the local people. There will also be a new children’s area and art workshops.
