Police probe Tulse Hill shooting

rsz_stock_pic_policePolice are appealing for information and witnesses after a shooting on the Tulse Hill Estate.

Just before 10pm on Monday night (26 September) police were called to a report of a group of males with a firearm on the estate.

A search was carried out, but police found nothing suspicious.

At 10.15, a 19-year-old man presented himself at a south London hospital with gunshot injuries. He remains in hospital, but his condition is not life-threatening.

A discharged shotgun cartridge was found on a grass area near to Cherry Close on the estate. Police enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are continuing

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Tulse Hill area, or who has information that may assist the investigation, should call Trident detectives on 020 8247 4863 or via 101.
