Police probe Tulse Hill shooting

rsz_stock_pic_policePolice are appealing for information and witnesses after a shooting on the Tulse Hill Estate.

Just before 10pm on Monday night (26 September) police were called to a report of a group of males with a firearm on the estate.

A search was carried out, but police found nothing suspicious.

At 10.15, a 19-year-old man presented himself at a south London hospital with gunshot injuries. He remains in hospital, but his condition is not life-threatening.

A discharged shotgun cartridge was found on a grass area near to Cherry Close on the estate. Police enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are continuing
