Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak with in connection with a rape last year.

On October 19 2014, a 25-year-old woman had been out with friends at a club on Coldharbour Lane.

They left the club just before 4am when an unknown man joined them and they all made their way to an address in the Brixton area.

A short time after they had all been inside the property the man left and the woman was found unconscious in a bedroom in a state of undress.

CCTV captured a white man with short dark hair, walking along Coldharbour Lane away from the scene at approximately 05:30 am.

Detective Constable Alison Scott, of the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said: “The victim is still in great distress over what occurred that morning and we are keen to trace the man captured on CCTV walking away from the scene.

“Anyone who recognises this man or has any information that will assist us with our investigation should call us immediately.”

Anyone with information which could assist the investigation, or who can identify the man in the images is asked to contact DC Scott on 020 8721 4106. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
