A Brixton trader has put up a huge banner protesting the Network Rail evictions of businesses under the railway arches.
The sign on A & C Continental Deli says “Rail Sale: Everything must go.”
A & C is one of the many long-serving Brixton shops fighting against Network Rail’s regeneration plans which will force traders to vacate their premises with no promise for return.
Jose Cordoso, from the deli, said the banner was to keep up awareness in the community.
“‘Everything must go’ is meant to reflect the fates of all the tenants.”
