Two men have been charged with the murder of 54-year-old Donald McNichol who died after being assaulted in Stockwell Park Community Centre, in Aytoun Place.

Daniel Okello, 19, of Ambleside Avenue in Streatham was charged yesterday (December 19) and 18-year-old Monsur Rahman was charged today. They will both appear at Camberwell magistrates’ Court today.

Police launched a murder investigation after McNicol died in hospital earlier this week. He had been hospitalised after a confrontation with a group of youths at Stockwell Park Community Centre on December 2.
