Hootananny’s popular live band karaoke invites punters to the stage to sing their favourite rock or pop hit with Cornucopia full live band behind you. Free. 9pm to 12pm.

FRI 5 @ BCA
Co-curators of current Black Cultural Archives exhibition Rastafari in Motion Ras Shango and Robert Gillingham gives an exclusive background into the making of the exhibition, offering a unique insight into their innovative approach, which aims to capture the raw, holistic, and rooted experience of Rastafari movement in the Britain. £10. 1pm to 4pm.

Album Launch PartyFRI 5 @ UPSTAIRS AT THE RITZY
New Orleans based rapper Tony Wilson launches his audio cinematic dystopian concept album, in collaboration with Lalya Pars, Resistant Society. L.A.B presents The Jam will be a night of live hip-hop talent both local and international, with Jam residents and regulars including Keemy!, Myylo Whyte, D’Vo, BusyFingers and many more. £5. 8pm to 1am.

SAT 6 @ LOUGHBOROUGH JUNCTION
It’s Your Local Market with Loughborough Farm have introduced a new monthly community market in Loughborough Junction in conjunction with Loughborough Farm, The Platform, Ebony Riding School and the community of Loughborough Junction. At the market will be fresh produce from the Loughborough Farm, natural grain and herbal food and drinks, handmade accessories, fashion, beauty and hair products, greeting cards and natural soaps and skin care with many more traders to be announced.

SUN 7 @ POP BRIXTON
On the 7th and 14th August, members of Tulse Hill and Dulwich Hockey club, in collaboration with Pop Brixton, will be hosting Rush Hockey. The event will be taking place at the newly built Pop Fields, which has been built to bring the summer of sport to Brixton, and to celebrate sport in Lambeth. Rush Hockey is a 5 aside game that is open to all levels, so whether you’re a pro, a total beginner or a just fancy a run about, this is the event for you. Just turn up and get stuck in. All kit will be provided. Free. 10am to 12pm.
