The team behind South Pole Saloon are back: this time bringing Miami beach to Valentia Place for a series of day & night parties that with food, drinks, music and a live outdoor screen for an amazing Summer of sport. Thursdays and Fridays 6pm to 11pm, BrixtonBeachBoulevard (1)Saturdays 1pm to midnight throughout the summer. £5.

Slavery in Small Things at the Black Cultural Archives: Have you thought about the origins of sugar production or the history of Britain’s stately homes? Professor James Walvin from the University of York talks about the connections between everyday objects and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. He will re-examine present day objects through an alternative historical lens. £3. 1pm to 2pm.

Mirroring Queen Bey’s all conquering spirit – Gold Teeth are throwing Beyonce’s Lemonade Terrace Party. Expect: Lemonade Cocktails, Lemon-braids (Get your weave did Lemonade-Style), Jay Z Pinatas (Complete with Beyonce Bats)and Blue Ivy Hula-Hoop World Championship. Music from Sweet Bill B2B DJ Rah Kelly’s Beyonce Special + Special Guest DJ’s. £6 to £20. 7pm to 4am.

SAT 11 @ CAMBERWELL ARTS
The annual Camberwell Arts Festival works in partnership with local residents and artists studio’s, galleries and arts organisations to programme a 9 day festival of exhibitions, events, open studios, walks, talks and workshops. Until 19 June. Visit the website for more info.

SAT 11 @ BROCKWELL PARK
Found Festival returns to Brixton for its fourth and biggest edition of six stages of house, techno, disco and more electronic music. From £35. 11am to 9pm. Afterwards head to Electric Brixton for the official after party. 9pm to 6am. £7.50 to £12.50.
