    standupforrefugeesWednesday 9 December: Stand up for Refugees is a comedy at Brixton East in aid of refugees in Calais. The evening will include comedy from Mark Steel, Andy Zaltzman, Nish Kumar, Chris Coltrane and others. Tickets £11. 7 pm to 11 pm.

    Wednesday: Lambeth for a Cool Planet are putting on a Film Screening of the climate change documentary This Changes Everything on at The Brix in St Matthews. Starts 7 pm. Tickets £4 to £8.

    Thursday 10: Photofusion Salon showcases an impressive range and quality of work produced by members throughout the year. Exhibited salon-style, the photographic and video work of 100 artists will be installed in the gallery from floor to ceiling. From 10 December to 29 January.

    Friday 11: Gypsy Hill, billed as an “eight-piece Balkan surf-rock world wide fusion”, return with support and there’s live comedy for those arriving early. Free before 10 pm, £4 after. 8.45 pm to 3 am.

    Saturday 12: Its Your Local Market brings a jazz and blues night cafe to Windrush Square. 6 pm to 11 pm.

    BCA winter fairSunday 13: Head to the Black Cultural Archives for its Christmas gift fair. BCA has picked lots of traders with wonderful wares for sale.  Also running on Saturday with different traders. Free. 10 am to 5 pm.
