Following the success of last year’s event, the ‘100 Dads Walk’ is set to return this Saturday (15 June) in Brixton. The walk was established by St. Michael’s Fellowship, with the help of a group of young teenage fathers, some of whom were reconnected to their own children after a period of separation with the help they received from St. Michael’s Fellowship.

More than 100 families are set to attend – children, buggies and all – ‘walking in unison to celebrate fatherhood in all its diverse forms’. Grandparents and those expecting children are also welcome at the event, which meets at 12.30pm at the Ritzy Cinema before proceeding to Brockwell Park.

For further information, please see visit St. Michael’s Fellowship’s website and see the flyer below. You can also see updates on Twitter – @LambethDads – and Facebook – www.facebook.com/lambethdads

  1. Absolutely brilliant. Its a bout time events took place to acknowledge fathers. So proud to be a dad in Lambeth and I will be down on the day. Well done to all those pushing this forward.
