Plenty of Brixton’s musical talent will be gathering at Brixton East next Wednesday 3rd september for “one night only” for an audio visual installation paying a tribute to the art of sampling, an element of modern music that cuts across genres, time periods and cultures. Among the many artists offering their contributions to the cause will be Monster Playground who have teamed up with local music studios Raw Material to carefully curate an installation including audio and visual work form artists such as Kwake Bass, Reiss G, Nanci Correia, Floetic Lara & Barka. There will also be DJ sets from an impressive lineup of upcoming London based artists to watch out for, each with their own impressive array of sample driven music such as Ben Hauke, Flava Dré, CLGE, Dan & Warren Xclnce.
