Brixton based music and media production house Raw Material presents ‘NDSTNCT, A night showcasing a creative photography exhibition exploring the theme of IDENTITY with work from new young talents CK, Riley, R. Walker & Jess Naulls, alongside an eclectic mix of live music from some of London’s finest homegrown talent curated by the ‘ndstnct collective. Heading the bill on the night will be none other than London’s finest 4-piece, United Vibrations – a high energy driven, horn-led cosmodelic afro-punk live act hailing from South East London.
Supporting UV the incredible Ma’Grass 6-piece, who draw influences from Jazz, Afro, Funk, and Latin sprinkling some spices from the past, present and future. In addition, Benny Mails and Saddler The Kid bring their low fi, Dilla influenced soulful hip hop sounds into the bill alongside The Factory, who will be bringing their workers to Brixton East stage, fully bead- ed and keeping things eclectic with their individual old but new blend of jazzy, electronic & experimental hip hop.
As if that wasn’t enough, dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s on the one’s and two’s will be Livin’ Proofs very own DJ Budgie, who will be laying down some old-skool hip-hop and Boogie Nights founder Ed Word, who will be warming up the dance with some classic funk, soul and rare groove rounding off a night of music and art without distinction.
