The Glasshouse: play in pictures

The Glasshouse, a new play from local theatre group Grindstone, is currently showing at the Tristan Bates Theatre near Covent Garden. Brixton Blog readers can get £10 tickets by booking online with the promo code ‘Olive’.

Blog arts editors Barney and Ruth went along to the show. It’s an epic, moving piece about two men locked in a makeshift prison on the back line of the Somme during the First World War.

One is a shell-shock victim, portrayed with twitching realism by Sam Adamson, and the other is a conscientious objector played by playwright Max Saunders-Smith. Pick up a copy of this month’s Brixton Bugle for an interview with show producer Sonnie Beckett.
