Baytree celebrates 25 years in Brixton with fundraiser and art auction

Baytree 25th logoThe Baytree Centre on Brixton Road celebrates its 25th birthday with an anniversary fundraiser and an art auction at Brixton East. All money raised will go back into the work Baytree does in the local community. The centre provides mentoring, support and training in a safe environment to women and girls from different backgrounds who have experienced personal or social difficulties.

 

BAYTREE ANNIVERSARY FUNDRAISER

An evening of live music, food, art and performance, DJ and dancing. Food from the Lido Café in Brockwell Park.

Doors: 7.30pm – late. Tickets £15

Support Baytree fundraising efforts by taking part in the Art Auction. All money raised goes toward the programmes Baytree run.

The Baytree centre supports those who lack language skills, can’t access employment, live in poverty or poor housing, suffer racism and discrimination, abuse or family breakdown.

Baytree’s education & support programmes are tailored to the individual needs of users. All projects for both women and girls rely on 1–1 mentoring, offering support to them in overcoming personal difficulties.
